Ciphercounts is an innovative accounting firm that combines Big Four veterans with technologists to advance financial practices in the crypto industry. CipherCounts is a core contributor to Bitwave’s product offerings and product development, spearheading integrations into SaaS and collaborating with several of the largest crypto mining companies in North America.

Ciphercounts is one of the earliest crypto accounting firms, and in the early days traveled to hackathons and conferences across the world while contributing to the original framework for current crypto accounting practices and working closely with leaders and institutions across the industry including the Ethereum Foundation, academia, and the AICPA.

Additional Highlights:

• Developed accounting protocols for complex DeFi products that involved staking, validators, LPs, investments, and trading and prepared financial records for a multimillion dollar startup that was acquired and graduated into a multibillion dollar merger with one of the largest crypto mining companies in North America.
• Supported the design and built the ERP solution for of one of the first algorithmic stablecoins, and later a multi-collatoral algorithmic stablecoin
• Worked directly with the Ethereum Foundation on EIP 1559
• Supported several of the original DAOs
• Helped launch Collab.Land’s DAO co-op, who is one of the leaders in social token platforms supporting a network of over 4 million users including Bored Ape Club
